This is a special spot in Mumbles. The cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Mumbles, after the Castle! The layout is quirky with the living space upstairs and the bedrooms downstairs. This enables you to sit in the bay window upstairs in the lounge and look out over the beautiful bay and watch the world go by.
The cottage has recently been lovingly refurbished to a high standard, you will not be disappointed.
The bedrooms comprise of:
Front: One custom made Superking bed in the front of the cottage, with flat screen TV
Middle: One custom made King size bed
Back: The bunk room has a custom made bunk bed. It has a luxury king bed at the bottom and a small single for the kiddies to play or sleep in.
The spacious bathroom has a lovely deep bath and separate shower.
The mature garden is secluded and secure, plus has a BBQ and chiminea.
There is off road parking, with a possibility of 2 spaces.
We have SKY TV for you to enjoy plus the use of Netflix. High speed internet is included.
Stairgate, highchair and travel cot are available.

What People Say...
The location is perfect for visiting Gower beaches, whilst at the same time allowing for indoor comfort when it rains. We spent a fair bit of time just looking out of the window across the bay towards the lighthouse and our kitten loved sitting on the windowsill, birdwatching! The house itself is well-equipped and cunningly laid out to accommodate 6 people comfortably. We would really recommend a visit to Rhossilli Bay, including a scramble across to Worm’s Head, if you are able. We saw dolphins, seals and possibly a shark from the top of the ledge. Wonderful area and great accommodation.
The James
Enclosed parking area at the rear of the property with a shutter so all very safe and convenient, The property is very spacious with a nice outsie area which would be lovely when the weather warms up. Roz the owner is very welcoming and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the house. We used the property as a base to do some walking in the Gower.
Mary
Stayed for 2 nights early May – House is very clean with all mod cons and Roz was very welcoming – shower was amazing. The bedrooms are downstairs so as it was warm the 2 days we were there this was great as they stayed cool. The view from the lounge is gorgeous as it has sea views. Ideal location as it is in the heart of mumbles so it was so easy to walk up the road to the famous Joe’s Ice cream shop. The secure car park space/garage was essential this time of year as all the car parks get very full. will return but will stay longer next time. JH
Mrs Horlock
A lovely, spacious home, beautifully decorated throughout, cosy sofas, cosy beds and lovely and warm too!
Every morning we have enjoyed our early brisk walk along the front to Verdi’s cafe and restaurant and back, picking up fresh bread, welshcakes and pastries on the way back from Davies bakery on the corner. A perfect start to each day.
The house has been a great base to explore from – apart from the lovely Mumbles itself we have been to Caswell, Oxwich, Rhosilli with fantastic scenic walk along to Worms Head and Port Eynon.
Shepherds at parkmill is an ideal place to park also, then take the path across the road through the wood and out onto the breathtaking Three Cliffs Bay. A fabulous walk for everyone. Thanks for everything.
